I stopped riding my mountain bike years ago when I fell head first into adventure motorcycling. This electric dirt bike is an amazing hybrid between dirt bikes and mountain bikes. Hatchers pass... Alaska. We took the advise of a l Hatchers pass... Alaska. We took the advise of a local Talkeetna resident and made a detour on our way back down south. Hatchers pass is a magical little gravel road that goes up and over the mountain. It turned out to be one of the most scenic drives we've done in the past two weeks. Our final day I'm Talkeetna, Alaska. We stayed in Our final day I'm Talkeetna, Alaska. We stayed in a sweet little tiny home that was built and owned by a float plane pilot. Decided to take a flight with him the following morning around the Talkeetna mountain range. Apparently this house was featured on an HGTV episode about tiny homes a few years back. The plane was a 1974 Cessna float plane that he purchased back in 1997. He refused to let me fly it. #talkeetnaalaska #floatplane #antiquesnowmobile #tinyhome #tinyhomesalaska

If you don't know about this park you should look it up. 6 million acres of protected land that is only accessible by commercial bus or backpacking. There is a 90 mile road that runs all the way into the park. What an amazing experience! We caught the park on an overcast and cloudy day which made for some amazing views but unfortunately the mountain was covered in clouds. The 6th photo is our bus driver holding up a photo of what this views would look like if it weren't super cloudy. Hanging out in Healy, Alaska for two days just nor Hanging out in Healy, Alaska for two days just north of Denali. Spent the day playing off road on some gravel roads and a dry creek bed. Wrapping up the day with a visit to the original 49th state brewery and their "Into The Wild" clone bus. Sometimes the most amazing moments happen when you Sometimes the most amazing moments happen when you sit down, stop talking and just observe your surroundings. A few days ago me and @beerrunneraudra took two chairs and two beers to the end of the island to hang out for a bit. After about 30 minutes of skimming the horizon with my binoculars I spotted one of the most amazing sights I've ever seen. About 30 feet from where we were sitting a harbor seal caught an octopus and surfaced as he proceeded to rip it to pieces using his belly as a dinner table. I tried a number of times to catch some video through my binoculars but finally gave up and decided I would just watch as much of this event as I could. It floated past us and took it's time wrestling and/or playing with the octopus as it took one bite after another. It eventually faded off beyond our view and left us speechless. It was something that I'll remember for the rest of my life and I'm thrilled I had my partner in crime there to witness it. It was something from a book or a movie and never in my wildest dreams could I image watching something like this happen in person. Towards the end of the first video you can see the seal's head jerk back as he takes a bite. Once I'm back home I'll try to get a zoomed in version of this scene. #foxislandalaska #harborseal #crazystuffyouseeinalaska
