This posting shows the removal and complete dis-assembly (almost complete) of a 1974 914 Porsche/VW engine. I’ll try to go through the images and post individual descriptions on any steps that aren’t straight forward. The plan for the engine is a complete rebuild with the transmission going back into the car coupled to an electric engine. Page 2 and 3 of the gallery show the first steps in this process.
